Following El Tri‘s impressive showing against Uruguay in their Group C opener, Mexico looks to take a strangle hold of the group on Thursday night.
Venezuela looks for their second straight win when La Vinotinto takes on Uruguay (7:30 p.m.,Fox Sports 1/Fox Sports 2Go/Univision/Univision Deportes/UniMas) who is in need of a result. Luis Suarez’s status is still unknown heading into tonight’s match, but the Uruguayans will have to dig deep regardless to find their first points at the Copa America.
Meanwhile, Mexico could lock up a spot in the quarterfinals with a win against Jamaica (10 p.m., Fox Sports 1/Fox Sports 2Go/Univision/Univision Deportes/UniMas). Coming off of a convincing 3-1 win against Uruguay, Juan Carlos Osorio’s side will have to duplicate their brilliance without Andres Guardado, who was sent off in the second half of El Tri‘s opener after picking up a second yellow card.
